Aluminium futures rise on fresh bets

New Delhi: Aluminium prices on Monday rose 75 paise to Rs 256.30 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in October increased 75 paise or 0.29 per cent to Rs 256.30 per kg in 438 lots.

Copper futures gain on higher spot demand

Copper futures rose 0.11 per cent to Rs 904 per kilogram on Monday due to higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for October delivery grew Re 1 or 0.11 per cent to Rs 904 per kg in a business turnover of 1,703 lots.

Zinc futures rise on high demand

Zinc prices on Monday rose Rs 1.70 to Rs 279.55 per kilogram in futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for October delivery traded higher by Rs 1.70 or 0.61 per cent to Rs 279.55 per kilogram with a business turnover of 552 lots.
